Welcome Home Reception
On January 5 the Dodge City Roundup, Inc committee and Miss Rodeo Kansas Board of Directors hosted a Welcome Home Reception for Amy at Casey's Cowtown in Dodge City. Speaker of the House, Melvin Neufeld and State Representative, Pat George presented Amy with a Kansas flag that had been flown over the Topeka Capitol Building, together with a certificate of such. They also announced that they had made arrangements for Amy to be recognized at the State Capitol in February during a legislative session and that she would be allowed to address the session that day.
