Cowboy Church at the Miss Rodeo America Pageant

There will be a Cowboy Church service Sunday morning, December 2 at 10:00 am in The Orleans Showroom for parents, guests and pageant personnel attending the 2008 Miss Rodeo America Pageant.  Trish Lenihan, Director of Circle C Ranch Ministries in Bismark, ND will conduct the service.  In addition to the music and message by Trish there will be several testimonies by contestants and other Wrangler NFR personnel.

Trish has formally served on the Board of Directors for bot the Miss Rodeo America and Miss Rodeo North Dakota pageants, and has been active in the Cowboy Church Ministries at Cheyenne Frontier Days, the National Western in Denver, Wrangler National Finals Rodeo, National High School Finals Rodeo and the National Little Britches Rodeo Finals.In addition to her years of independent ministry, she worked for the Billy Graham Association; she was Lifleline Director of Youth for Christ and a National Representative for Christan Women's Club/Stonecroft Ministries.

Through the years Trish has recorded three country gospel albums.  After the September 11th terrorist attack on our nation, she made a special recording of just two songs, one of patriotism, "God Bless America Again", and the other of healing for the soul, "Stronger Than Before".

Now, having returned to the ranch, she conducts seminars, conferences, God and Country Rallies (evangelistic outreaches on horseback complete with covered wagon) and takes as many outside speaking and singing engagements as possible.

All messages will be read by committee members of Miss Rodeo America, Inc to ensure the appropriateness of the message before being passed on to contestants.  Every effort is made to print off and deliver messages in a timely manner, however circumstances may prevent the receiving of messages.  When sending a message please keep in mind that contestants DO NOT have access to email during the pageant, nor would they have time to answer emails if they did have access.

Wrangler - Official Western Jean and Shirt Manufacturer

Wrangler Jeans is the "official western jean and shirt manufacturer" of Miss Rodeo America, Inc.  Wrangler's sponsorship program includes financial assistance to the year-round business operation and scholarship program.  Wrangler co-sponsors Miss Rodeo America's color autograph pictures and provides her with an extensive wardrobe of Wrangler jeans and shirts.  Wrangler awards gift certificates to each contestant competing in the Miss Rodeo America Pageant.  Additionally, Wrangler jeans and shirts are provided for the Style Show and Coronation productions during the Miss Rodeo America Pageant in Las Vegas.

Professional Rodeo Cowboys Association

The PRCA recognizes Miss Rodeo America, Inc. as the sole entity to select Miss Rodeo America.  The PRCA's sponsorship program includes hosting a luncheon during the annual pageant in Las Vegas, which provides an opportunity for rodeo committees and contract personnel to interact with the Miss Rodeo America organization.  The PRCA utilizes Miss Rodeo America for numerous appearances throughout the United States.  Financial assistance and in-kind services are provided to Miss Rodeo America, Inc. through efforts of the PRCA.  In addition, the Pro Rodeo Hall of Fame and Museum provides an exhibit area for Miss Rodeo America, Inc.  For more information on the PRCA and coverage of the Wrangler National Finals Rodeo, please visit their website.

Peter Stone Horses

The Peter Stone Company became a sponsor of Miss Rodeo America, Inc., in 2000.  The Indiana-based company has entered into a partnership agreement to produce a Stone Horse model each year.  The model will be a replica of the reigning Miss Rodeo America's horse and will become a part of the Stone Horse Collector Series.  A percentage of all sales from the Miss Rodeo America Stone Horse Collection will be contributed to the Miss Rodeo America Scholarship Foundation in the name of the reigning Miss Rodeo America.  To see the entire line of Stone Horses, please visit the company's website.

The Orleans Hotel & Casino - Official Host Hotel of MRA 2008

Landstrom's - The Original Black Hills Gold, Since 1878

The perpetual crown worn each year by Miss Rodeo America is the property of Landstrom's Original Black Hills Gold Creations.  A new crown was created in 2000 and was worn for the first time by Miss Rodeo America 2001, Tara Graham.  The new tiara is a duplicate of the to previous crowns, the first of which is now on display in the PRCA Hall of Fame in Colorado Springs, Colorado.  The second tiara is now retired at Landstrom's headquarters in Rapid City, South Dakota.  The crowns are made of Black Hills Gold, Alexandrites, Pearls and other precious stones and have been made available to the Miss Rodeo America Pageant each year since 1965.  Landstrom's awards each contestant a special handcrafted pendent resembling a piece of the crown and presents the reigning Miss Rodeo America a beautiful collection of Original Black Hills Gold Jewelry to compliment the tiara.
